All registered SLAS2017 participants are invited to enjoy dinner and celebrate freedom of expression at Washington, DC's popular Newseum.

Ranked #8 of 394 things to do in Washington, DC, the Newseum promotes, explains and defends free expression and the five freedoms of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution: religion, speech, press, assembly and petition.

Transportation Provided

Complimentary and continuous round-trip shuttle bus service is provided for the less than one-mile journey between the Walter E. Washington Convention Center (L Street entrance) and the Newseum (Pennsylvania Street entrance, 555 Pennsylvania Ave.) from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. All guests must have an SLAS2017 badge and be 21 or older to attend.
